My 1972 dodge challenger story. I’ve had this car for over 20 years. It has always been stored indoors. If you are looking for a 5-Gold-Star, numbers matching, concourse, rotisserie restoration, show car then STOP RIGHT HERE.

If you’re looking for a drop dead gorgeous, better than sex, street machine……read on. This is excellent driver. Fly in and drive it home. Originally a 340, slap-stick, A/C car it has evolved over the years to a 408 Stroked, forged crank, Eagle H-beam rods and forged Diamond dish pistons set-up at 9.8 to 1 compression. It has Mopar W-5 aluminum heads (ported by Shady Dell), Mopar W-5 intake, Mopar 1.6 roller rockers and a mild Lunati Voodoo flat tappet, it has very solid, rough idle and is an excellent cam for high performance street or bracket racing in 340-360 or larger cubic inch motors. Lunati says it’s their largest cam recommended for daily driven street machine. 7-qt Moroso oil system, weld in sub frame connectors, MSD 6-AL and billet distributor, 850 Mighty Demon carb. Dynoed at 605 HP and 630 ft/lbs at 5200 rpm’s. Automatic transmission with a 10” converter and 3.55 clutch type posi-unit in the back. It has NEW 17” wheels and tires. Awesome POWER and will smoke my new SRT-8 Challenger. Yep, I said new SRT-8 Challenger.

So this is why i need to sell this for a low price fast. I need $ 12,500 more for the new SRT-8 so this is my final asking price for the `72 Dodge. As you see in the photo this was a 100% ground up refresh restoration of a perfectly good car. It was completely disassembled to a rolling chassis then each piece was completely painted and then re-assembled with new pasts where needed including A/C evaporator and condenser, heater core, all weather stripping, marker lights, head liner, bumpers, brakes, trans rebuild, new motor, carpet, stereo and 1 year of Sirrus radio included, flip gas cap and on and on and on.Only the engine cost $10,000 new. Restoration was completed mid July and cost $15,000. It’s painted 2008 Hemi Orange Pearl BC/CC. The hood is painted, not decals. The side stripes are reflective and so is the black on black R/T emblem in the rear. The entire project was photo documented.

Things that need attention: it needs an analog adapter from MSD to make the tachometer compatible with the MSD 6-AL. Tic-toc clock rebuild. Door warning buzzer does not function. I will answer serious questions.

DO NOT REPLY THIS EMAIL BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE ANSWERED . WE ARE PROMOTING THIS AD ONLINE FOR THE SELLER xxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com . PLEASE CONTACT THE SELLER AT xxxxxxxxx@gmail.com .
THANK YOU

Aside from it sounding really authentic and reaaalllly awesome, it has been confirmed spam. Don't click any links especially the oh-so enticing picture link to a well-known photohost site.

The first obvious thing to shoot down this email, or at least any potential buyer worth his salt: CHALLENGER NEVER HAD AN SRT ENGINE OPTION IN '72!
So an SRT clone would be a big rebadge mistake.
In further analysis this: ` , is an accent mark, while this: ' , is an apostrophe. Dead giveaway the writer is not from around here.

Estentally, the car in question is pictured at the right.
Don't worry though. They almost got me. I just couldn't understand why they would try to sell one to my non-profit group...

Happy Earth Day- Magellanic Penguins

To help inspire awareness and appreciation for Earth Day, I've done some research to inform the Ani-Pock community about the "near threatened" species of penguins - The Magellanic Penguins.

The Magellanic Penguin are threathened due to exposure of its breeding colonies to oil spills, which annualy kills 20 000 adults and 22 000 juveniles, and the decline of the fish population, which was disrupted by climate change. Due to the climate change, the penguins are forced to swim further out their nesting ground, causing their mates to starve while sitting on a nest.

I encourage the AP community to Post or Leave a Comment about Earth Awareness to show appreciation for EARTH DAY.

Happy Birthday, THC!

Hey bro, they couldn't get anyone else to write you a birthday post I guess...

Happy birthday!

Kami got you a brand new car:

Oh, wait. That's not it. Maybe you can help him clean it later though, knowing how much you love washing cars.

PiGGY says, "Beep, beep!"

I hope you get a chance today to enjoy the present I got you for you for your birthday.
Not everyone buys Beck volume 4 before getting volume 1.

And you can't return it either...

...because the guitar store is closed permanently.
That's when it looks the most metal.

Anyway, happy birthday from Yui and the whole gang at A-P!

The Most Expensive Elevator Ride Ever - CN Tower

Located in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is the former champion of the tallest freestanding structure in the world - The CN Tower (standing about 1,815.4 ft tall). In this clip, I've recorded a few friends, enjoying their first time experience inside the tower.

NOTE: I recorded with my cellphone so I appologize for the bad quality. Also, I've replaced the original soundclip with some EPIC ROFL COPTER KICK-ASS MUSIC OF WIN due to the terrible sound quality.

Weirdest Music Video Ever

Bakatono Sama and Mini Moni

Mini Moni was a subgroup of Morning Musume
and Bakatono Sama is a creation of Ken Shimura
Do turn down the volume before playing this...

HappY Birthday BaBy ButterCup!

HappY BirthDay Queen Lucy!

I remember few years back... a gabber appeared looking for a place to draw...
The gabber asked "What is this place?"...

With Lucy's charm and ... err... Bluntness... she soon became the "darling" of Ani-Pock.
Lucy's great sense of foresight of the up coming (now current) economical situation...
Taxation soon started on Ani-Pock, and Lucy proclaimed herself Queen.
The "Lucy Tax" left many on the streets, but happy to see Queen Lucy smile.

The Life and responsibilities of Royalty has kept Queen Lucy away from Ani-Pock from time to time... but her spirit lives on in the heart of her subjects...

So, on this day... I'd like to wish HappY BirthDaY to Queen Lucy!
May your iron fist rule us justly!

HappY Birthday (to my) BaBy ButterCup.

I remember this picture :P

Congratulations Ani-Pock for Being Named One of the Top Cultural Websites of 2009!

In a recent conference at the G20 World Summit of Leaders, US President Barrack Obama named the top 150 websites that promote cultural awareness from America, including his top five pics for best Japanese culture websites.

One of the picks Obama named was Ani-Pock.net!
He touched briefly on the merits of the site including its content and ability to chat with real people from Japan about, "what its like there."

When he made it to the list of top Japanese websites, Obama named several of his choices and what cultural interest they bear in what he calls 'the global village'.

The FoxNews offers a transcript of his conversation to G20 Summit leaders:
"These websites like ManInJapan.com, that tells visitors how to adapt to cultural irregularities and quirks only the Japanese have, or DannyChoo.com, which is pretty cool... I've always been a big fan of Star Wars, and what he does is pretty cool. Just a great American. We also have Ani-Pock.net, which is a really neat community of Japanese people telling us all the important things to know about Japan and the latest thing to come from there... anime or Japanese animation. It's a cool website... All in all these culturally relevant websites really help to bring the global village we all live in, just a little bit closer."

Recipients of the award are given a "Top Websites" badge (pictured at right) they can embed on their site and the opportunity to have waffles with the President at a banquet next month. Pocky said he was told he will be flown by Air Force One since he's on the opposite coast of the capitol, so that he won't have to buy his own plane ticket in order to attend.

Congratulations, Ani-Pock!!! And thanks to everyone that helped make us a Top Website!

Lots more cool stuff here!! Continue browsing...
