Fishy Bathtub

Move over rubber ducks (sorry PC!), make way for the fishies! Here's a new bathtub that has an integrated fish tank. It'll let you swim right with them! More info:

The Moody Acquario is made of tempered glass and wood with an incorporated aquarium on the outside. Ridiculous...yet ridiculously cool. Scant info on this site about how the unit works or whether the oddly angled tub is even comfortable (I guess you'll be preoccupied watching your aquatic bath buddies to even notice).

Saekow Technologies Model D Prototype

I've been building small compact audio amplifies for mp3 players such as the iPod since 2000. These guys came before the iPod brought along all those mini speakers you see today. The goal of my powered amplifiers is simply to deliver a punch of sound, in a small size. These are way louder and richer in bass than the mini speakers you see for sale for iPods. And they are internally powered! Here's my latest, Model D, which you can see with some older models...

Hello everyone!!! Today, I want to introduce a new project put together by all of you! It's the AP Newspaper. YAY! Basically members will send artwork (comics), poems, stories, opinion pieces, games, art pages etc..., anything that they want to put in the paper and then I as the editor will put everything together for the AP world to see!

All entries must be emailed to me at Rin@ani-pock.net by March 20.
This will be the deadline for our first newspaper, if all goes well we can continue on and have an AP newspaper every two weeks. Anyway, just remember to keep everything tasteful, but above all have FUN! Members have already started to work on this. Leave a comment and/or email me with what you are planning to do!~ Such things like the comic section and poetry section can have more than one author! Alright, that's all for now, I can't wait to see what we put together!

NMAC Con And Ani-Pock

I am proud to announce to all of Ani-Pock:

The first Ani-Pock convention meet-up!

Well... though I doubt a lot of you will be able to make it... here's the scoop anyways.

Traverse City, Michigan, USA, will be hosting an anime convention, the first in northern Michigan, on May 10th! This is the official con of Ani-Pock members. Why? Because Tiffany "Asuka" Grant will be a guest presenter!
Also, the whole con will be filled with unique events and presentations including a Mr. and Mrs. Otaku (like prom king and queen, but for those of us who never stood a chance) and other interesting panels and screenings, including some films you may not see anywhere else, anymore!
The con is a one day event, but we intend to spill over into an extra day where we will screen anime movies all day at the historic downtown theatre in Traverse City.

I as well as my Co-Planners, in charge of the local anime club, found here, have been planning this convention for just a short while, but have not skimped on quality events we want to bring to our beloved otaku community!

Here is the Northern Michigan Anime Convention (NMAC, like the Mackinac Bridge, the "Mighty Mac") website. The other co-planners agreed that Ani-Pock will be mentioned on the site as NMAC being the official con for Ani-Pock members, but we are expecting between 200-300 guests in this, our first year!

We may even possibly pick some other locations in future years to hold further Ani-Pock-official-convention-meet-ups, but let's see how many people make it to this one first, eh? XD

Well I entered a science fair type of thing with my partner, and now we're going to state!
Our project was on decomposing meat, and we got honnerary mention.

Having trouble with the chatterbox?

What happens is that I can't post, If I say hello or something, it shows up on mine, but on any one else's it doesn't. Its really odd, this started happening about a week ago....and it only happened on ani-pock, if you have any sugestions either comment or email me.
